A group of roughly 3,800 bikers, VRUK make and coordinate the delivery of PPE across the country, something which Myers got involved with throughout the pandemic.
Simon Jones, the founder of VRUK, said: "Basically, during the pandemic, we identified, sourced, and transported all types of PPE to try to keep everyone in the UK and even abroad safe.
"Dave undertook runs for us, but asked for it to be incognito - he did not wish to have any more recognition than anyone else.
"Everyone who worked with him on this had nothing but respect and admiration for him."
With that in mind, members of VRUK from across the country will be using Dave Day to pay 'respects to a great man, a man who shared [their] morality and wish to help others'.
