Holker Hall is set to celebrate the season with its Spring Fair event.
With attractions ranging from circus workshops in partnership with performer Andy Jester, to live music by the Cumbria Collective, organisers are expecting to attract up to 4,000 visitors across the weekend of May 11-12.
A highlight of the fair will be a 'Dog With The Waggiest Tail' competition as a part of their fun dog show.
The competition invites families to register their beloved canines to participate and stand a chance to win exciting accolades including the 'Loveliest Lady' title.
The dog show is planned in three rounds a day.
Andy Jester will organise children’s workshops over the weekend, focusing on a variety of circus skills including juggling and hula hooping.
These workshops will run from 10am till 2.30pm on Saturday and 10am until 4pm on Sunday.
Families can also enjoy mini fairground rides and taste delicious delights by a variety of suppliers including Aupa Street Food, Greek Street and The Tipsy Truck.
Plus, Holker Hall's popular cafe will remain open to serve throughout the event.
Head of visitor services, Fran Horne said: "The Spring Fair is a celebration of the light nights and sunshine of the new season.
"It's a fantastic family event that people really look forward to and we can't wait to welcome them back to Holker again this year."
Tickets to the Spring Fair will also grant access to the historic hall and gardens, where, in celebration of World Topiary Day on May 12, head gardener Matthew Murgatroyd will discuss all things topiary.
He will demonstrate crafting a topiary piece for personal gardens and answer questions about maintaining Holker's topiary collection.
