A SHOP owner is taking his business 'to the next level' with his upcoming expansion.
TechMend, a repair shop in Ulverston, was officially opened to the public in 2018 by Tyler Mills who runs it on his own.
The business is now set to expand on May 22, moving from King Street to the Gill, to provide clients with a larger space, more visibility, and stock but also to get members of staff in the shop.
"I have grown my business over the last few years and it seemed like it just reached a point where it is as far as it can go where I am," said Tyler.
"Getting a bigger space and being more visible is the way to take it to the next level and potentially get staff and grow it to a much higher level."

The business, which was once located above The Hair Studio, will now be located on the ground floor.
Work is still ongoing on the inside with friends ensuring it is properly decorated in time.
For the past six years Tyler has worked alone but now he is looking forward to the challenges of training someone up and working as a team.
He is also hoping to expand in other areas within the business.
"My goal is to expand into other areas that I have ideas for. I want to offer something that is not available around this area," he said.
When asked about having a business in Ulverston he said that it is a 'nice' place to work at.
He said: "Ninety-nine per cent of the customers are really nice and really pleasant people to communicate with.
"The first year in business was very difficult. I nearly gave up about 100 times and I did not really make any money I was just putting savings into it. But then after that, it just picked up each year so it is going well."
