The annual bowls event The King Alfred Charity Singles has resulted in £300 being raised for local charities.
Held on April 30 the bowls competition was a success, taking place at King Alfred Bowling Club, Furness, with sponsorship from MKM Building Supplies.
Bowlers showcased their early season form, and the final saw a showdown between talents Dave Jones and Danny Edmonds.
Mr Jones triumphed, securing the trophy with a score of 21-12.
The Bakery on Amphitrite street supplied the players with a pie donation.
