Leigh Bond jailed for playing loud music in Barrow neighbour dispute
A NUISANCE neighbour who played music too loudly at night has been jailed.
Leigh Bond, 38, was subject to a restraining order which included preventing him from being able to play music from his home on Redshaw Avenue in Barrow between 8pm and 7am, prosecutor Rachael Woods said.

Coultan Riglar jailed for facilitating supply of cocaine to Barrow
A FORMER wind turbine worker turned Barrow drug dealer has been jailed for almost ten years.
Coultan Riglar, 29, became involved in a Class A county lines operation to pay off drug debts, a court heard.

Nathan Draper led police on 100mph chase on the A65 and A590
A SOUTH Cumbria businessman has been jailed for leading police on a 100mph late night high speed chase while over the drink-drive limit.
Officers spotted Nathan Draper, 22, behind the wheel of a Toyota Hilux, on Burton Road in Kendal, just before 11pm on Friday, 23rd February. The Hilux had no lights on and failed to stop despite the patrol vehicle’s blue lights and sirens being activated.

Man jailed for breaching restraining order by sending text to victim
A MAN has been jailed after magistrates found him guilty of breaching a restraining order.
Lee Taylor, of no fixed abode, was made subject to a restraining order at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on January 25 this year.

Liam Hughes jailed for stalking ex-girlfriend in Barrow
A STALKER who was ‘simply unwilling’ to leave his ex-girlfriend alone has been jailed for causing her to suffer alarm and distress over a prolonged period of time.
Liam Hughes terrified his former partner, caused her to have sleepless nights and to feel vulnerable in her own home with her four-year-old daughter, Preston Crown Court heard.
