A BARROW man's brave video on male mental health in Barrow has been watched by thousands of people.
27-year-old Jordan Thomas Fisher, who works for We Buy Any Car, put a public video on Facebook talking about his experience with Andy's Man Club since he started 12 weeks prior.
The video has since been viewed 3,700 times.
He admitted making the video 'has taken me some bottle.'
Wearing an Andy's Man Club jumper, Jordan said in the video: "It is ok to put yourself in a vulnerable situation, sometimes it pays off and you will come out stronger on the other side."
He said we can break anxiety 'as a brotherhood.' He said he had a lifetime of anxiety, stints of depression and anger problems and that while he has 'grown out of it' - he still has mood swings, depression, doubtfulness and low self-belief.
Andy's Man Club meets every Monday from 7-9pm except on bank holidays at the SO Legal Stadium.
Jordan told The Mail: "Recently, unfortunately, we have lost another brother who didn't get the chance to come to the club. He lost his battle with his mental health before getting the chance to go to Andy's Man Club.
"Every man in Barrow should know about this club."
Jordan praised the amount of progress he managed to make in the club in a short space of time, going from a member to someone helping others in a matter of weeks.
He said the club 'changed' his life and is also beneficial for men who do not have suicidal thoughts.
What is said in the club on Mondays is '100 per cent confidential' and is between small groups rather than the whole club, which still gets dozens of men through the door each week since it started in February.
Despite the seemingly heavy subject matter, Jordan said members may start the session downtrodden but leave 'with a smile on their face.'
"It just takes one man," he said, "it only takes that one man to make everything fall in place."
