A SECTION of a rural road has closed to fell dead trees.
Work started on the road that goes through Canny Bridge on April 22 and is expected until April 26. There are dead trees that require urgent felling along a section from Hazlerigg Lane for 260 metres.
A route for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained.
An alterative route is via the unrestricted sections of the road from Newby Bridge and along the A590.
