A rugby club its opening its grounds to provide accommodation for people visiting Barrow for Dave Day.
On June 8, thousands of people will be travelling into Cumbria to celebrate the life of Dave Myers, one of Barrow's most famous sons.
The majority of hotels have already seen their rooms become fully booked for the weekend with Booking.com claiming that 95% of local establishments were no longer available at the time of writing.

With that in mind, visitors are having to become more inventive to find ways to stay in or around Barrow to be a part of the celebratory events.
That is why the likes of Askam Rugby Club are offering up their site to allow campers to stay on their pitches.
Liz Gaskell said: "We are able to offer 60 two-person tent pitches on our main pitch and training pitch, with access to toilet facilities for the duration.
"We have a large clubhouse with a licensed bar, TVs and a music system, and we will offer food over the weekend - details for that are yet to be confirmed."
Askam is roughly eight miles from Barrow, providing the perfect spot to stay close to the festivities - especially for the countless motorbike enthusiasts set to arrive as part of Dave Day.
All bookings will be made on a first come, first served basis, with spaces expected to be snatched up quickly.
Each booking will cost £15, which must be paid in full at the time of the request being accepted.
The club confirmed that no refunds would be given if guests are unable to attend, though the £15 would be donated to a cancer charity in Myers' honour in this scenario.
"We look forward to welcoming everyone in support of this fantastic event in memory of Dave Myers," Liz added.
