A care home has celebrated 10 years of dedicated service.
Bay Home Care Ltd in Grange reached the milestone birthday on April 12 and marked the occasion with a special event at the Grange Hotel.
The idea to start the local business came about through Phil McDonald and his wife Sarah.
Phil said: "We set up Bay Home Care to build on my own and my wife's previous experience in social care with an aim to provide high-quality care and support to people in our local community.
"As you can imagine it was a learning curve but the people we have supported over the last 10 years have helped shape us into an adaptive and person-centred care company."
The pair said they were 'delighted' to be celebrating the anniversary, a birthday which proves that their work has been worthwhile.
"The celebration last Friday was wonderful, we managed to get a lot of the people we support to the event at the Grange Hotel, including some of our more isolated members of the community," said Phil.
"This was made possible by our fantastic team of carers helping to support and transport people to and from the hotel.
"We all enjoyed an afternoon of tea and cake, with lots of conversations, laughs and smiles."
And, whilst the day was spent reminiscing about how far the organisation has come, it also presented the team with a chance to consider how they can build upon these strong foundations.

"We recently got a good rating with the CQC, we are on the local authorities new framework and still work closely with the NHS," Phil explained.
"We are excited about seeing what the future brings and continuing to support our local community in Grange-over-Sands and the surrounding areas."
