A number of properties in Cartmel are opening their doors to show off the best of the Lake District landscape.
Organised by the Cartmel Village Society, the 'garden open day' will take place on Sunday, July 21 and will be focused in Barn Garth.
Three properties will be allowing the public to explore their gardens between 10:30am and 4:30pm.
The organisers explained: "Greencroft is a garden of parkland with various species of trees with herbaceous borders, whilst Laburnum Cottage is a small, compact walled garden with views of the C12 Priory Church.
"Then you have The Rowans, which is a beautiful garden of shrubs and herbaceous plants around four lawns with a large selection of pots, many containing hostas."
Refreshments will be made available at Laburnum Cottage.
It will cost adults £7.50 to access all the gardens, with kids going free.
