Drivers in and around south Cumbria will have five National Highways road works to watch out for this week.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A590, from 9.30am November 24 to 6am April 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M6 northbound and southbound, junction 34 to 37, lane closures and slip road closure for tree removal and re-planting.
Four road works will begin over the next two weeks:
• A590, from 9am April 2 to 3.30pm April 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A590 eastbound and westbound, Swarthmoor, traffic signals for SU works (BT).
• A590, from 8pm April 8 to 6am April 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A590 eastbound and westbound, Newby Bridge, traffic signals for electrical works.
• A590, from 7pm April 9 to 5am April 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A590 eastbound and westbound, Ulverston to Swarthmoor, traffic signals with Convoy working and Lane closure for Patching and road marking/stud reinstatement.
• A590, from 9.30am April 15 to 3.30pm April 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A590 eastbound and westbound, Haverthwaite, traffic signals for SU works (ENW).
