A MAN has pleaded guilty to possessing class A drugs with intent to supply them.

Zaki Roberts was charged after he was found in possession of crack cocaine and heroin in Barrow.

It was alleged he intended to supply the substances to others.

South Cumbria Magistrates' Court heard the 25-year-old committed the offences on March 25.

He admitted both charges when he was brought before magistrates.

The defendant, of Barrow's Rawlinson Street, was remanded in custody, court documents said.

He is due to be sentenced at Preston Crown Court on May 8.
