A 'great, little' pub in the Lake District has been put up for sale as the owners leave after six years.
The Three Shires Inn in Ambleside has been owned by Anthony Guthrie and James Wilkinson since 2018.
James said: "It is a great little business in a truly magical location - we have been privileged to run it for the last six years.”
The inn includes 10 individually themed bedrooms, as well as a traditional lounge and restaurant area featuring beamed ceilings and log-burning stoves.
Also included in a separate adjacent property is a four-bedroom owners' accommodation which a new owner may wish to use as additional letting accommodation.
Keith Stringer, business agent at Christie & Co who is handling the sale, said: “The Three Shires is a hospitality gem offering the opportunity to purchase an established and highly profitable freehold business in an idyllic honey pot location.”
