Farmers and producers in the Cartmel and surrounding areas will be celebrated by a 'neighbourhood' restaurant in April.
Rogan & Co is launching 'Local Heroes', a week-long bi-annual event starting from April 16 to April 20.
The initiative is designed to pay homage to the community, including farmers, food producers, artisans, craftspeople, and artists who contribute to the restaurant's success.
The 'Local Heroes' week will feature a special set menu curated by head chef Tom Reeves, focusing on ingredients sourced from the finest local suppliers.
Guests can expect dishes that feature produce from suppliers like Cartmel Valley Game, Lake District Farmers, Torpenhow Cheese, Eden Yard, Wraysholme Creamery and Lovingly Artisan Bakery, among others.
Drink choices will also spotlight local producers, including Fell Brewery.
They have partnered with Our Farm team to create the 'Courgette and Mint Gose', the second beer in a four-part series which will be served throughout the week.
Priced at £79 per head, the event offers a four-course seasonal set menu with additional snacks and petits fours for either lunch or dinner.
A paired drinks option will be available to complement the dishes, along with a selection of seasonal cocktails.
To participate in this celebration of local produce and talent, simply book a lunch or dinner spot via the Rogan & Co website.
