St Bernard’s Catholic High School has announced the appointment of a new headteacher.
In an email to parents and guardians, the school revealed it will be welcoming Daniel Vince in September 2024.
Mr Vince is currently acting as the deputy head at St Thomas Aquinas school in Birmingham but plans on relocating to the area with his family.
St Bernard's said the soon to be head was ‘very excited’ about joining their ‘wonderful’ school.
The school said it would like to thank Jennifer Whittam for ‘holding the fort’ as interim headteacher since September 2023 and assured her role would be maintained until Mr Vince arrives.
The email to family members said: “The directors and governors would like to thank Mrs Whittam and her team for the continued commitment to St Bernard's.”
