World Book Day has once again come and gone and children across Barrow and Furness pulled out all the stops.

As could be expected, the world of Harry Potter was a particular point of interest for plenty of kids.

We asked readers of the Mail to send in pictures of their children being dressed up for the occasion, and there were a number of witches and witches getting ready to go to Hogwarts.

And, whilst they might not have been brewing potions or dealing with Mandrakes, they still looked the part and we thought it was only fair to show off their efforts.
