A Lake District cafe has been named one of the best for rustling up a hearty brunch.
The Times recently published a list of the best places in the UK for brunch and one quaint spot in Windermere was among the winners.
Whether you're looking for coffee or a full slap up meal, Windermere will always provide you with the perfect backdrop.
Picture it now, lounging near the lake with a coffee in hand and belly rumbling, safe in the knowledge that lunch is on the way.
Sound good? Well, let's take a look at The Times' review.
Kevin Tickle loves Homeground, Windermere, Cumbria
“It’s no secret around here that Homeground does an epic brunch and a flawless Red Bank coffee that’s roasted in Kendal,” says Kevin Tickle, chef-patron of Heft in High Newton, Grange-over-Sands.
"They don’t take bookings and the queue outside says it all. It’s a good place to sneak off to on a Tuesday when the kids are at school and we’re closed, but they love it as well."
