A school in Barrow has outlined how it has spent the 'healthy' funds it now has access to.
Following their PTA meeting on March 1, Roose Community Primary School revealed that it had injected £8,566.71 back into improving the site and supporting its pupils.
A large portion of this has gone to bringing in new tablets for students with the donation amounting to £3,400.
School bosses said: "We are very grateful to all our families who have supported us over the last few years to enable us to make such important contributions back to [the] school to support the children's learning and play.
"We would like to continue to provide exciting activities and events for the children, and to raise further funds to support our children in the future."
The money also went towards summer trips, a dinosaur workshop, playground equipment and the initial funding for a new sensory room on site.
