The Rotary Club of Furness held its presentation night for the Tour de Furness.

It was attended by around 70 people, including riders and their supporters.

The cycling event, held last September, saw nearly 150 riders traverse courses of 13, 25, and 50 miles.

In the end, it raised an impressive £25,000 for a dozen different charities, with £6000 directly benefiting St Mary's Hospice.

The event, largely made possible by sponsors such as Vattenfall and 15 others, saw Poole Townsend Solicitors raffle a bike or accessories for participants who raised more than £50.

Alongside trophies, participants were also presented with cheques for their nominated charities.

In total, eight trophies were distributed during the evening.
