A hospice in Ulverston is roping in local businesses to help celebrate its 35th birthday.
The team at St Mary's Hospice are on the search for 'Compassionate Companies', which will join forces with the charity to provide £35 a month for 35 months.
The hope is that, through the scheme, this will ensure that the hospice is able to run for at least another 35 years.
On Thursday, BNI Cumbria announced that it was the latest business to join the initiative.
In doing so, BNI will enter a Compassionate Companies Network where they'll attend quarterly networking mornings and receive regular updates from the hospice.
Their logo will also appear on the hospice website and they will will receive their own logo and certificate to 'display with pride'.
If you would like to join in BNI's wake and sign up, or want to find out more information, you can email annabelle.holloway@stmaryshospice.org.uk.
