A SHOP in the Lake District is offering an ice cream flavour inspired by the hit movie Saltburn called 'Jacob Elordi's Bath Water.'
Saltburn, directed by Emerald Fennell, has picked up traction among a primarily young audience on Instagram and TikTok due to its unpredictable plot and shocking scenes.
In one outrageous explicit scene, Oliver Quick, played by Barry Keoghan, drinks water draining out of the plughole after Jacob Elordi's character Felix Catton takes a bath.
Taking inspiration from the film and the hype it generated on social media, the owner of The Little Ice Cream Shop in Hawkshead and Windermere Amy McPherson, 27, created a new flavour for customers to try.
"I just got a bit bored of the flavours we make and I thought this would be quite funny," she said. Cosmetics company Lush had made a product inspired by the scene which gave Amy the idea to make her ice cream flavour.
The ice cream itself contains nothing untoward. It is similar to a double jersey flavour which uses clotted cream, Amy explained.
"People love it," Amy said. "People saw it on social media and travelled for it." She said people with Scottish and Scouse accents travelled to her shop to try the flavour.
Jacob Elordi's Bath Water will remain at The Little Ice Cream Shop for the next couple of months, according to Amy.
"Young people have just found it really funny. We always switch our flavours up. I'm only 27 I don't really relate to your traditional ice cream flavours," she said.
Amy opened her shop in 2016 when she was 18 to help finance a move to London to become an actor. Alongside running the shop, she is still doing acting jobs in films and TV productions in the UK and The United States.
