On-call firefighters working in Ambleside have been celebrated and commended for the work they do in the area.
The event was the latest in a series of appreciation nights being conducted by Cumbria Fire and Rescue designed to promote the efforts of the county on-call first responders.
A spokesperson from the fire service said: "The event gave us the chance to thank the team for their tremendous commitment to their community, in responding to a host of incidents and delivering important safety information.
"We also recognise the vital role played by our firefighters' families and primary employers, without whom we could not achieve the high levels of availability we do."
The event was also attended by Mike Johnson, Cumbria's Deputy Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, who handed out certificates of appreciation.
