One of the largest carpet stores in the UK is set to move to an even bigger premises next week.
Carpet World, currently located at Ashburner Way, is set to move to Walney Road from 9am on Monday (February 26).
The locally-owned store sells a wide range of carpets and flooring - as well as furniture from sofas to bedroom suites.
The new store will be able to house a bigger range with the store and warehouse all under one roof.
Owners Kyle, Michael, John and Dave have been busy refurbishing the new site.
Kyle Holden said: "We've been working very hard to make the new warehouse look as aesthetically pleasing as possible.
"We're still going to be working all over the weekend, and it might take some late nights, but we're looking forward to inviting people down to the new store on Monday.
"I think there's a misconception that we're a big chain however we're locally-owned and we work hard to get the cheapest prices.
"We cut out the middle man and get directly from the suppliers so we can offer brand new ranges for cheaper than anywhere else.
"For the new store, we've been up and down the country speaking to new suppliers.
"We're gonna have plenty of new additions as well as wholesale pieces for low prices.
"We still have the bespoke aspect too where people can come and choose specifics such as colour, sizes and exact measurements of what they need.
"There will plenty of bigger display ranges so we're excited for people to come down and see."
The business needs to get rid of a lot of the old stock quickly before the new store opens on Monday.
Kyle added: "Everything must go - we have mountains of stock that need to be shifted before Monday.
"This is really the weekend where people will bag an amazing bargain so we invite everyone to come down to Ashburner Way and see what we've got for even better prices."
