A MULTICULTURAL festival of Spring traditions will return to Barrow town centre next month.
BarrowFull’s annual Festival of Colours takes place on Saturday, March 23, promising a taste of international arts and culture as well as entertainment from closer to home.
Local people’s ideas have helped to shape the free event which will feature performances, creative workshops, live music and more.
Now in its third year, the event is suitable for all ages and will take place at the Town Hall, Town Square and The Forum.
Organisers have brought back by popular demand the event finale of Holi coloured-powder throwing which will paint Barrovians with a kaleidoscope of colours.
In the evening, BarrowFull will host Barrow’s Spring Fling by the ceilidh band, Ceithir, at The Forum from 7pm.
Tickets for this are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions and can be booked at The Forum box office or online.
The festival has been produced in partnership with Westmorland and Furness Council, is sponsored by BAE systems, and is supported by Barrow Town Council.
