Temporary name plates are set to be installed at The Roxy in Ulverston following its 'Sponsor-A-Seat' campaign.
Renovations began last summer after the Roxy Collective managed to buy the iconic building thanks to funds from the public and private donors.
The first phase began with the exterior before moving on to open up some of its unoccupied and forgotten spaces for public use.
Those who donated £300 will see a sponsored seat in the theatre and are also invited to special events as a VIP.
Temporary name plates are now going to be installed ahead of the venue's internal renovations.
Speaking on the Facebook page, the Roxy Collective said: "As we near the completion of the current exterior work on The Roxy, it has become clear that the internal renovations, including replacement of the cinema seating, will take some time.
"Consequently, we will be installing temporary name plates for all those who supported our Crowdfunder campaign 'Sponsor-A-Seat' reward, and we sincerely thank you all for your patience whilst we assessed what could be completed in phase 1 of our planned works.
"The 'Sponsor-A-Seat' name plates will be installed so that families names are together where possible, although this does not guarantee you will be able to sit in your specific seat whenever you visit The Roxy cinema due to the nature of the cinema's unreserved seating policy.
"Please watch this space for the announcement of when the name plates are in place and where you will find them, and our sincere thanks once again to all those who donated to this reward."
