Businesses in Barrow town centre have placed 'safety and cleanliness' at the top of their concerns for the area.
Barrow Bid revealed that they had been sent the feedback by organisations in the region and are now embarking on countering the complaints.
Over the next few weeks, they will be giving several areas across the town centre a deep clean, working in partnership with GrimeFighters UK.
Barrow Bid organise regular litter picks in the town centre, involving volunteers from a range of local businesses to keep the area clean.
Their latest announcement is a part of their efforts to take this even further to make Barrow an attractive spot for visitors.
The team have reiterated that, if you believe the space outside your business needs a clean, you can message Barrow Bid at manager@barrowbid.co.uk, who will then take the suggestion into consideration.
