The Furness Railway in Barrow is set to celebrate Scottish poet Robert Burns with a seven-day event.
The celebration takes place at the Wetherspoon pub from January 22-28, serving traditional Scottish food and drink, including a Burns’ Night feast on January 25.
Options for nourishment will include Scottish haggis, neeps, and tatties, as well as a Caledonian Burger - comprising of two 3oz beef patties, haggis, whisky sauce, served with chips and six onion rings.
A haggis meal can be enjoyed for £7.50 with a soft drink or £8.97 with an alcoholic beverage.
A small haggis, neeps and tatties meal is also available for £5.81 or £7.28 with a respective drinks choice.
Those favouring a beefier choice can opt for the Caledonian Burger meal, priced at £9.64 with a non-alcoholic drink or £11.11 paired with an alcoholic drink.
Scottish drinks being served at this event include Nessie’s Monster Mash (4.1% ABV) from Cairngorm Brewery, two Scottish single malt whiskies: Glenmorangie and Glenfiddich, The Famous Grouse and Bell’s whisky, famous Scottish BrewDog Elvis Juice and Hazy Jane craft beers, and Scottish gins Hendrick’s and Edinburgh Gin Rhubarb & Ginger.
The Furness Railway pub manager, Rob Hope said: "The seven-day celebration is a great opportunity for our customers to enjoy some traditional Scottish food and drink and to celebrate for longer than just the 25th of January."
