Farmers across south Cumbria have the chance to earn themselves some vital financial backing this month.
With significant challenges still facing the agricultural industry, Westmorland and Furness Council have made available support payments to ease the cost of living for the farming community.
These will be accessible to farmers working and living in the old South Lakeland District Council area of Cumbria.
The funding is being distributed by Cumbria Agricultural Chaplaincy, though those interested have been warned to act fast to take advantage of the limited help.
The offer will close on January 31 or earlier depending on the level of uptake the council receives.
If you would like to benefit from the scheme, you can contact the team at the CAC by emailing cumbriaagchap@outlook.com.
