A COMMUNITY litter pick is taking place in a town centre this coming week.
Barrow BID invites people to join them on Thursday, January 11, for a community litter pick from 2pm to 4pm.
The meeting place is at the Spirit of Barrow statue outside McDonalds at 2pm.
A spokesperson for Barrow BID said: "Whether you've attended a litter pick before or not, this is the perfect opportunity to meet new friendly faces whilst doing your bit for the town."
This litter pick is in partnership with, BAE Systems, McDonald's Barrow-in-Furness Town Centre, GRIMEFIGHTERS.uk, Holiday Inn Express, Barrow-in-Furness & South Lakes, Furness Building Society, Love Barrow Families, Barrow Town Council
and Morgan Sindall.
