A GIFT shop in Barrow is saying goodbye to a six-foot tall teddy bear which is one of only 100 in the world.
Special Occasions will sell its large Charlie Bear, which weighs five-stone, in a private auction.
It is looking for offers over his original RRP of £2,999, with some shops selling their bear online for £4,250.
The large 'Big Fella' Charlie Bear is part of a limited run that is no longer in production. The one owned by Special Occasions is unique as the detailing for each bear is different.
He is fully jointed, which means that he has a movable head, arms and legs. The buyer will receive a certificate of authenticity with the bear.
Until now, the Crellin Street shop has placed him in the entrance to the bear's treehouse.
However, with owner Donna Dacre closing the business after Christmas, the time has come for the bear to find a new home.
"It's really sweet," Donna said. "One lady used to come and see him every Tuesday. Everybody would just come and talk to him. Children came in and we'd give a sticker for saying hello."
Offers for the bear can be made until December 23 by messaging the Special Occasions Facebook page.
Donna said she wanted to keep him but she does not have the space at home once the shop closes.

The bear is only available for collection or local delivery.
Special Occasions has been in Barrow for 12 years. Due to new work and family commitments, Donna said she was 'unable' to give the shop the attention it deserves.
Donna previously said: "I have always prided myself for giving 100 per cent customer service, being able to keep on top of market trends and being unique that I just felt that it was time to step away from that and give somebody else the opportunity to other businesses to come.
"I loved being in the town centre. We have had loyal customers throughout the years, particularly over the last five years when I introduced the bear’s treehouse with our lovely collectable bears."
