A furniture shop in Barrow is planning on helping a local hospice by selling unique tree decorations.

The team at Stollers on Walney Road has set up a Christmas tree in store, which features knitted baubles made by volunteers from St Mary's Hospice.

Customers will have the chance to take any of the decorations they like home, as long as they give a charitable donation, small or large.

All the money raised will be going directly to the hospice, which means you can spread some festive cheer as well as helping a local charity.

Other fundraising efforts at the moment include a charity book sale at Wynsors on Billings Road in Dalton, and a new click and collect service that allows people to buy prints and pictures in aid of the hospice.
