THE Lanes Shopping Centre has announced a new soft furnishing and home accessories store set to open on Thursday, December 14.

Julian Charles will become the Carlisle shopping centre's latest retailer and offers a wide range of bedding, ready-made curtains, luxury cushions, cosy throws, and home decor accessories.

Ahead of the opening of the new store this week, The Lanes' centre manager Susan Young shared her delight at welcoming the new retailer to the city centre.

She said: "We are thrilled to welcome Julian Charles into the centre and are looking forward to seeing their extensive offer of products and designs for the home being available to our loyal shoppers in Carlisle."

Kevin Moulsdale, commercial director at Julian Charles also gave Carlisle shoppers a flavour of what will be on offer at the new premise in the city's shopping centre

He said: "Julian Charles is delighted to be opening a new homeware store in the wonderful City of Carlisle.

"We sell a fantastic selection of bedding, pillows, home decor and all things cosy to keep you warm this winter.

"In addition, we are excited to be opening in The Lanes shopping centre which is a great location for all your shopping needs."

Finally, Alex Brooker, director, asset management at Ellandi and responsible for The Lanes added:  "The Lanes Shopping Centre is a prime location in the heart of the City centre and Julian Charles will join a diverse array of excellent stores, including well-known favourites such as Primark, Next, and Superdrug along with independent operators such as Katie Loxton and Girls Wear Pink.
