SEVERAL events across the Furness region had to be cancelled at the weekend due to the heavy snowfall and ice.
Unfortunately, some of the events couldn't be moved, such as the Dalton-in-Furness Christmas Lights Switch-on which had to be cancelled.
Some of the much-loved festive events have moved to different dates in December however. Here at the Mail, we have provided a list of the dates and times of the re-scheduled events below:
Tractor Club
The tractor run will now take place this Saturday on December 9 from Tudor Square, Dalton, around 7pm with Santa special judge Mr George Kilbride.
Eco-Christmas Fayre, Red Rose Club, Ulverston - Saturday, December 9
The last 'Flourishing Futures' event of the year unfortunately had to be cancelled with new date information to come.
The creative Eco-Christmas Fayre encourages visitors to have a very merry season whilst shopping ethically and reducing household waste whilst saving costs.
Snow may have scuppered plans for last weekend but it will now take place on Saturday with entertainment, food, stalls, Secret Santa, workshops and plenty more.
