Four gastro pubs in Cumbria have been named as part of the 50 best establishments across the UK.
The Black Swan in Ravenstonedale, owned and run by Louise Dinnes for the past 16 years, ranked highest in 20th place.
Finishing in 34th place was the Black Bull in Sedbergh, fusing Japanese culture with the heritage of the Lake District.
Skelton's The Dog and Gun ranked in 38th place and The Heft Inn in High Newton is run by Kevin and Nicola Tickle and was named as the 42nd best gastro pub in the UK.
