A Christmas fayre is due to take place in Ulverston that prioritises ethical shopping and reducing waste.
The event will happen on December 3 between noon and 5pm at the Red Rose on Victoria Road.
Visitors will get to enjoy eco-friendly activities, listen to live music, visit a surplus shop and gander at the many stalls on display.
The aim is to combine the festive spirit with promoting how individuals can do their little bit for the planet, as well as encouraging fundraising at the same time.
Groups such as the Ulverston Food Project will benefit from the money raised through the fayre.
They were asking for a few more volunteers to make themselves known to help run their stall, with those interested encouraged to message them on Facebook.
