The Mayor of Ulverston helped plant two oak trees in Lightburn Park to commemorate the life of Queen Elizabeth II.
Michelle Scrogham worked with her Deputy Lieutenant Julie Barton to plant the trees on Friday at 11:00am.
Whilst one of the trees celebrates the reign of the departed monarch, the second one was used to mark the coronation of King Charles III.
The work was done as part of a week of tree planting throughout Ulverston, with the Mayor also visiting local schools to do the same job.
Mayor Scrogham visited Sir John Barrow School, UVHS, Croftlands Infants and Primary School, and Croftlands Junior School.
