Here are the inquests taking place at Cockermouth Coroner's Court next week.
An inquest is an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding a death.
The purpose of the inquest is to find out who the deceased person was and how, when and where they died and to provide the details needed for their death to be registered.
Coroner Miss Kirsty Gomersal will preside over the inquests on both Tuesday, October 17, and Thursday, October 19.
On Tuesday, the first inquest to take place is scheduled for 10am.
The inquest surrounds the death of 91-year-old Joseph William Hackett from Barrow.
Mr Hackett passed away in Barrow on November 21, 2022.
The inquest is expected to take one hour.
Following this, there will be an inquest into the death of 33-year-old Carlisle resident Jason Farmer.
Jason died on March 21, 2022, in Carlisle. His inquest is expected to take two hours.
Later in the day, starting at 2pm, there will be an inquest into the death of Helen Rita Tabern, 84 of Workington.
Helen passed away on March 5, 2023, in Whitehaven.
The inquest is expected to last one our.
Not before 4pm, there will be an inquest into the death of Francis John Hornsby, 83, of Workington.
Mr Hornsby died on August 31, 2023 in Whitehaven.
The inquest is estimated to last 15 minutes.
Not before 4pm, an inquest will be held into the death of Kevin Reynolds, 81, of Carlisle.
Kevin passed on September 1, 2023, in Carlisle.
The inquest is expected to last for 15 minutes.
Not before 4.30pm will be an inquest into the death of Valerie Barnett, 89, of Kendal.
Valerie passed on September 17, 2023, in Kendal.
The inquest is expected to last 15 minutes.
The final inquest of the day, not before 4.30pm, will look into the death of Rosalind Grace Millar, 84, of Workington.
Rosalind passed on August 29, 2023, in Workington.
The inquest is expected to last for 15 minutes.
On Thursday, October 19, an inquest conclusion will take place at 10am.
This inquest is in relation to the death of Victoria Sybil Fraser Hanson, 54, of Cockermouth.
Victoria died on July 2, 2021, in Wetheral.
The inquest is expected to last for two hours.
Not before 4pm will be an inquest into the death of Brian McAlindon, 90, of Penrith.
Brian passed on September 8, 2023, in Penrith.
The inquest is estimated to last 15 minutes.
The final inquest of the day will, held not before 4.30pm, will look into the death of Barrington Curle, 83, of Carlisle.
Barrington passed on September 4, 2023, in Carlisle.
The inquest is expected to last 15 minutes.
