COMPETITORS from all over the country are set to partake in an annual Powerboat Racing event.
The 51st edition of Coniston’s Power Boat Records Week will take on Coniston Water from w/c October 30 to November 3.

The event is the finale of the racing season and the only chance to bring together all classes of boat.
Since the introduction of the Windermere speed limit in 2005, Records week has taken place on Coniston Water over a new kilometre course.
The most famous drivers in history been Sir Henry Segrave, Sir Malcolm Campbell and Donald Campbell, whilst Norman Buckley was instrumental in the inauguration of Records Week.
