A man has received a suspended prison sentence after he was found to be street dealing a Class B drug.
Declan Hughes, of no fixed abode, was caught with five wraps of cannabis in his possession with intent to supply it to others.
The 20-year-old committed the offence at Roose Railway Station on Flass Lane in Barrow on March 31 2022.
He pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B cannabis on August 2 at Preston Crown Court and was sentenced on October 3.
Recorder Michael Blakey sentenced the defendant to a nine-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered that he undertake 30 RAR days and 40 hours of unpaid work.
