Anthony Hutton, 65, is the landlord of the Tower Bank Arms, in Near Sawrey. He has been in post for 17 and a half years and said that 'most' years the pub has managed to get in the guide.
He said: "We are very proud to be included in the publication. We take pride in what we offer which is a selection of five real ales hand-pulled - selected on styles, strengths and flavours. We are proud to offer a good selection of Cumbrian ales.
"We are very lucky to have a good selection of ales of the finest quality in Cumbria."
Anthony said his pub was supplied by Hawkshead, Cumbrian Ales and Barngates Breweries, which are all from the area.
This year's guide features a foreword supplied by Bruce Dickinson, the lead singer of heavy metal band Iron Maiden. The cover is of Iron Maiden's mascot 'Eddie' drinking beer.
The launch event for the new guide was at Signature Brewery in Walthamstow, London on September 27. Iron Maiden's signature beer Trooper was on draught in recognition of Bruce Dickinson's involvement in the guide.
