Tickets are due to go on sale tomorrow (September 29) for an evening with the 'wild man of rock' Shaun Ryder.
The Happy Mondays and Black Grapes frontman is set to come to the Forum Theatre in Barrow for what has been described by the venue as a 'carnival of excess, wild tales, and improbable truths'.
Over the decades, Ryder has become a UK national treasure and he is going on tour to promote his new book 'Happy Mondays - and Fridays and Saturdays and Sundays.'
Fans can look forward to stories from the unique rock'n'roll star dubbed Britpop's answer to Irish poet WB Yeats. These will include insight into the 'sex’n’drugs’n’rock’n’roll' lifestyle during the Halcyon age of 'Madchester'.
In later years, he has provided much entertainment value to hit shows like Celebrity Gogglebox and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, among many others.
The 'melon-twisting' singer also had his own Apple TV show about UFOs and the existence of aliens.
The event will take place on Wednesday April 3 2025 with tickets ranging from £30 to £80 plus booking fee.
