WE brought you the news earlier this week that a clothes and shoe shop which has operated in Ulverston for over 20 years was closing its doors for good.

Urban Legendz on Market Place sold adult and children’s clothing and shoes along with skateboarding accessories, but announced they were shutting up shop at the end of this week.

Owner John Waddington who has been trading for 42 years, put on a closing down sale to his loyal and local customers before opening the sale up to the wider public.

Staff at the family-run independent shop always prided themselves on wearing branded clothes they were proud to sell including Dr. Martens, Weird Fish, Converse, Slamm Scooters, Vans, Merrell, DC, Old Guys Rule, Fox Racing and Sant.
