BUDDING writers are being asked to take part in a competition that could see their work featured in an anthology celebrating Barrow.
Literacy project Barrow Borough Books has announced the launch of its 'Life in Barrow' writing competition.
It invites young writers aged four to 16 to unleash their creativity and share their unique perspectives on life in Barrow.
Children are asked to submit a poem, story, diary entry, letter or piece of any form they choose of up to 500 words.
Winners could be featured in an anthology collecting the pieces of writing.
The 'Life in Barrow' writing competition is now open and entries will be accepted until the closing date of October 31.
For more information about the competition, visit the Barrow Borough Books Facebook or Instagram pages or send an email to BarrowBoroughBooks@gmail.com.
