BARROW AFC fans have reacted to the departure of midfielder Josh Kay.
In a short social media statement on Thursday the Bluebirds confirmed that after five years at the club Kay would depart this summer after the terms of a new contract could not be agreed upon.
Following the news, a number of Barrow fans have made their feelings known as the player who scored six goals for the Bluebirds in the 2022/23 season departs.
Katherine Herbert said: "Gutted the guy has more passion and determination than most."
Adam Britchford said: "I'll miss frantically going on paddy power to put a tenner on Kay to get booked when seeing him warm up."
Christine Smith said: "Gutted.
"Played his heart out for us.
"Good luck for the future Josh"
Phil Kitto said: "That's bad news. Josh always gave his all and had a goal in him. Good luck."
Bianca Arribas Garthwaite said: "Fab player, really sad to see him go."
David Bell said: "On his day first class, off his day average at best. All the best fella."
Les Potter said: "Sad to see one of our more feistier Jack Russell's leave."
