A MAN who breached a restraining order by contacting a woman has been jailed.
Carl Ward admitted breaching the order when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court.
The court heard he sent a message to the woman in Barrow on May 22.
The restraining order was imposed by Burnley Crown Court in January.
Ward, 31, was jailed by magistrates for 12 weeks.
The court heard he is a serving prisoner.
