GREEN-FINGERED residents are preparing to open up their gardens to the public.
On June 24-25, 15 gardens of all shapes and sizes in Ulverston will be open for people to admire.
Some gardens will be selling plants and refreshments, and some are also particularly wildlife-friendly, giving lots of inspiration for your own garden.
Brochures can be found in local shops and details are also available on the Ulverston Town Council website and Facebook page, as well as on the Ulverston in Bloom Facebook page.
It will cost £3 per adult for all the gardens for the whole weekend, and children are free.
Kim Farr, the chair of Ulverston in Bloom, said: "In times of Climate Crisis these gardens offer a welcome explosion of colour and biodiversity."
