POETRY enthusiasts can enjoy an evening of Wordsworth at Rydal Mount, Ambleside.
Guests will be welcomed to the house at 5.30pm. The curator will take people around the four-acre garden, as William Wordsworth was an important landscape gardener as well as a poet.
Afterwards, guests will have a tour of the house. This will finish with a poetry reading given by a member of the Wordsworth family, who will read a selection of the family's favourite poems.
Guests can enjoy a glass of wine or a non-alcoholic equivalent, and a slice of Grasmere Gingerbread.
Rydal Mount and Gardens said it will be "a truly unique and intimate experience."
Parking will be available at the house but book early as there is limited availability.
Tickets cost £25.
