READERS appear largely unimpressed by new moves to play soothing classical music at Ulverston railway station in a bid to deter anti-social behaviour.

James Probert said: “Bit of easy listening while you sit around for the train never arriving I guess,” and 197 Food Take Away said: “Classic is good but don't like the trains.”

Terry Mckenna said: “Why don’t they just concentrate on making the trains on time?”

Gavin Hughes said: “How about getting the train to run on time or actually run at all? Absolute joke of a service! Must be the worst train service in Europe!! Absolute shambles.”

Ulverston station will play classical music as part of scheme to deter anti-social behaviour.
