PEOPLE living in Cumbria have just a few days left to benefit from the local’s discount which gives them half price cruises on Windermere.
The special discount on all Windermere Lake Cruises’ scheduled sailings finishes on Sunday, April 30.
The same half price discount also applies to entry to the popular Lakeland Motor Museum at Backbarrow with its collection of vintage and classic vehicles.
After that date – holders of the local resident card continue to qualify for a 20% discount through the whole summer from May to the beginning of October.
The Local Residents’ Discount Cards are free to anyone living in CA or LA postcode areas, which cover the whole of Cumbria and a large area of North Lancashire.
Students at Lancaster University and the University of Cumbria are also eligible to apply, by presenting their students union card.
MyCumbria Card holders also benefit from the same offers.
Anyone with a card continues to enjoy 20% off all scheduled Windermere Lake Cruises services throughout the rest of the summer.
