A MOTORBIKE rider was hospitalised after a collision with a wagon at Sizergh Junction.
Police were called shortly before 1.10pm today (12 April) to a report of a two-vehicle collision on the A590 up from Brettargh Holt roundabout.
The driver of the bike, a man in his 70s, suffered leg injuries and was taken to Royal Lancaster Infirmary by air ambulance. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The road was reopened shortly after 2pm with one lane remaining closed for vehicle recovery.
